Catch Up: Daniel

Daniel has been very busy. His job takes him away from home about 20+ days a month. He's been able to travel to some interesting and beautiful places, but it comes at a cost. He's often exhausted, living out of a duffel bag gets old very quickly and it's hard to be away from his family so much. Especially with a son who adores him and is learning and growing so much so quickly. Also, he doesn't get much time for sightseeing or experiencing much of the culture where he is. He's keeping track of all the most beautiful and exciting places and promises to take us there someday.

We are so grateful to have the luxury of the internet that makes communication so easy and convenient. While we aren't able to communicate everyday, it's easy to send photos and emails back and forth.

He is preparing for another deployment coming up. He'll be deployed to the same location he was at last summer for 2 months.

When Daniel is home we like to spend every minute we can together as a family. We like to play at home, go to parks, take drives to the coast (we recently went clam digging!), and get together with friends.
